starting from the top left and going clockwise:
- anthropologie - it's only been in the past year or two that i've discovered this wonderful place. my friend andrea wore something from there years ago and that was the first time i had heard of it, and it has slowly become more and more popular it seems (or else i'm just becoming more aware of it). i love that place. everything there is beautiful. i love the light fixtures, the furniture, the housewares, and the clothes. it is a place filled with beautiful things, and it's one of my favorite places to spend time in.
- a separate peace by john knowles - required reading in high school, this quickly became one of my favorite books. i love the story of friendship between gene and phineas, and finny's complete trust in gene, even when he's guilty. a story of true friendship and redemption.
- august in albuquerque - dave and i got married in august in the albuquerque, new mexico temple. both places hold a special place in my heart.
- about a boy - one of my favorite movies of all time. i think hugh grant should have gotten an oscar for this one. going from a selfish, narcicissitic jerk to a fill-in father figure for a boy that's hurting is a beautiful transformation in this hilarious movie. some of my favorite moments: when the kid throws the loaf of bread on the duck, and when a kid throws an apple at hugh grant's head at the end. serious laugh-out-loud moments.
- albuquerque - i was born and raised in albuquerque, new mexico, and it's still one of my favorite places on earth. oddly enough, i hated it when i lived there, but having been gone for over 10 years now, i would move back in a heart beat. i love the seasons, i love that i know my way around, i love the food, i love the people, and i love lots more about albuquerque. you can read more about my love here, here, and here.
you can read more from the encyclopedia of me here.
