You can see Isaac in his time-out sitting on the bench of the treehouse, and crying again as I snapped a picture of them on the giant map of the United States. I had fun pointing out to him where me, Dave, and he and Noah were all born while he screamed and cried. Noah loved going up and down the stairs of the treehouse and Isaac did too for a minute or so.
Here's a picture of Noah in the Oval Office, chatting up old Honest Abe. A sign of presidential things to come? One can only hope. The next picture is Isaac fighting with 18 or 19 month old kids for trains at one of the 14 train tables, the main source of tantrums today. Then another picture of Noah enjoying the toddler play tables. I wish I had gotten a picture of the fish, they had a Nemo fish tank that both kids loved. I'm thinking of buying a season pass because it would be a fun place to go this winter when it's too cold outside to play.

Oh Emily! I'm so sorry it was so rough! And yet you manage to have a sense of humor about it. Do you do that in the moment, too? It's something I respect SO much (maintaining humor while frustrated). I *hope* I do that. I'm trying. We do try. And CUTE VIDEO!! What a doll!
that looks like such a fun place!
"A good time was had by none."... that makes me laugh so hard!
Also, Noah kinda reminds me of Wesley! Too cute!
You bring back such....memories for me. ha! yes yes, those are the good times. Or at least the times. They make for good things to remember and laugh about later anyway.
I laugh ALL THE TIME now.
so i just have to wait 'til my kids are teenagers to be happy again...awesome.
stacy, no i do not have a sense of humor at the time. i get madder and madder until i'm about to explode, then we go home and isaac stays in his room for the rest of the day...it's not a pretty sight.
it looks like a fun place!
