My 38th birthday

I turned 38 this year. Gah! Dave was so sweet and went all out for me this year. I always decorate with balloons and crepe paper for the kids so he did the same for me, even decorating our bedroom door. He's just the sweetest. We had church that day and I was conducting primary so I made the kids sing to me (ha!). There was a crazy blizzard while we were at church but it cleared up by the afternoon.

Dave had meetings after church so I put together the bolognese sauce since it takes a few hours to cook. Dave came home and did the rest, the sweety, while I took a nap.

The best birthday card of all time. Dave really hit the jackpot.

I hate inching closer to 40 which is stupid but true. I have everything I want and it's been a good year. I'm excited to see what this year holds for me (including my 20 year high school reunion! Whoa!).
