so i don't know azúcar (carina) but i started seeing her name everywhere about 2 years ago. we know some of the same people and read lots of the same blogs, so her name was always in the comments and often, part of the posts i was reading. so i started reading hers a while ago. we even had a twitter convo on the merits of the show mad men. she didn't convince me, but she feels very passionately about it nonetheless. and the past three days have been the best posts ever. the series is called "why you should have a mormon friend". and man, it's funny. and true. go read 'em.

there are lots of mormon polynesians and their names are hard to pronounce, but most mormons can do it because everybody knows some of them. i think that's what she was getting at.
