this morning
isaac told me my hair looked beautiful.
i had just woken up,
and i haven't washed it for two days.
i wonder what he's trying to get out of me?
or maybe he's just sweet.
i think that's it.

it's snowing today.
so unexpected.

made an offer
on a van!

spent an hour and a half
scrubbing my couch and loveseat
and coating with leather protectant yesterday.
have i told you lately how much i
looooove leather couches?
they look brand new.
maybe not the most stylish
or comfortable
but with kids
they are a total necessity.

excited for baby girl
to drop a little
so i can breathe again.
breathing is always nice.

do you have valentine's plans?
since it falls on a sunday this year
i don't think we're doing anything.
i'm not sure how i feel
about valentine's anyway.

dropped a brand new wallflower
bulb on the tile yesterday.
now my feet and kitchen
smell strongly of creamy nutmeg,
and the boys keep slipping on the oily floor.

Made video valentines on our blog. Doing a little party with kids and their friends for V-day on Saturday. Making heart-shaped pancakes with strawberries for our family. Total commercial holiday that we don't usually get into much. We're celebrating just for fun.
Modern family is HILARIOUS! At least I think so.
And I hate ebay for that very reason. It plays too many tricks on your mind.
I hope you get your long dreamed of van - I'm starting to see the appeal. I really love Valentine's Day. It can be a reminder about how you're supposed to treat the people you love and you get to be as corny as you want!
just started watching modern family...LOVE it! we don't ever do anything for vday but last year sean sent me tulips (he was working in LA) and it was heaven!
Modern Family is one of my favorite shows. I love it. The dorky husband (of the family with the 3 kids) is my favorite - I love him> :)

Growing up we used to always do a "Heart's Desire" dinner where we drew a part of a meal from the hat and then chose whatever our heart desired. We'll do that someday, but our numbers are a little small for now.
