nothing cures my bad week blues better than spending a little money.
i wish i knew why, but i don't.
i just know it's true.
so here is a review of my retail therapy from the past week or two:
this shower curtain for my bathroom.
yes, we've lived here for 2 years and just got a shower curtain.
it's perfection and i am completely smitten.
got this quilt for noah's bed.
i'm still looking for a cheap solid blue throw pillow (ONE sham was $35!).
stupid nautica.
and yesterday? oooh people. i spent a solid hour in tai-pan COMPLETELY ALONE.
dave kept the kids and i just walked and shopped to my heart's content.
it's literally just down the street and i've only been there once in the entire time we've lived here.
i got 3 short square vases for $2 each.
i got a new hurricane to replace my broken one for $10.
i got some christmas wrapping paper, ribbon, and garland for $8.
and that is the BEST retail therapy there is: getting lots of stuff for cheap.

I am with you - I love to shop and when I find deals....I want to shout it to the world!
Cute shower curtain and cute bedspread. I can't relate to the spending-money-makes-me-happy part (it stresses me out), but I'm happy for you. You got some cute stuff!
nice! great job. I went shopping today to spend money and couldn't really find anything. ...i did however find a cute sweater cardigan thing that i like a lot.
love that shower curtain!
I love that shower curtain!
Shower curtain is darling! Give it! That quilt looks very similar to Charlie's and his is Nautica too. I remember when I bought it, the sham was $50 and I couldn't believe it! I had to wait for it to go on sale and use a 20% off coupon. Stupid Nautica. I bet you could find a plain blue sham online at bed, bath&beyond or jcpenney. Good luck. Retail therapy seems to run in our family...
Good finds. The best part is finding a great deal!
I plan on going to Tai Pan on Thursday morning on my way to pick up my sis from the airport. I also need to drop by your place to drop off a little gift. Will you be home?
