i suck.

i have officially lost my wedding ring.
it's happened to me more times than i can count, but this time, it's really gone.
when i travel my hands swell for some strange reason.
on our drive home from the family reunion sunday i took it off my ring finger
and put it on my pinky, where it doesn't quite fit...

...never to be seen again.

i feel sick about it. literally like i might throw up. it is consuming my every waking thought.
at least we switched insurance companies earlier this year and it was insured.
but it'll never be the same.
and i'm heartbroken.
and sick.
and so mad at myself i could scream.

oh no. there's nothing i hate more than losing something small and precious. i misplaced my new diamond stud earrings two nights ago. i had put them in my bra while i was reading a book, then proceeded to put the kids to bed, put away laundry, etc., bending over all over the house. i could not sleep, prayed my heart out and when i woke up the next morning, i put my hand on the carpet (to begin my day-long search) and my finger was right on top of one of the earrings. i felt safe knowing i hadn't left my house, so i totally feel for you having no idea where that ring is!! the worst.
sorry for the novel comment.

So sad.

Luckily, it's just the "worldly" symbol of your marriage. You still have your hubby to show for it! :)

I hope it just miraculously shows up one day.

Good luck!

Awwwwww....so sad.
Maybe it'll show up.

Take the money from the insurance, spend it on a trip to Disneyland and replace the ring with a twist-tie. That's my vote.

But then again, I am not very sentimental about my ring. I haven't worn it in 2 years because it digs into my finger.

I have lost JohnPaul's rings twice. Replaced the first one and then lost the replacement. I am trying to decide if I will replace it again. It makes no difference to him. I am so sorry!

I know how that feels to have lost something, but prolly nothing as important as your wedding ring! That really sucks!

I am so sorry! That really stinks. Remember when I lost my ring when I worked at the Chicago Temple? I felt so sick about it and couldn't believe how torn up I was about a THING but it was so awful. I hope it turns up! Sorry dude.

SO Sorry! I lost one of the diamond stud joseph gave me on our wedding day and was all torn up about it. I can't imagine losing my wedding ring (mine hasn't come off in about 5 years because my fingers are too fat now...) I would totally cry!

Oh Emily! Has it shown up yet? Because, like so many other things for you guys (CDs, etc.), I bet it does.
