i love getting alumni newsletters in my email inbox.
it makes me feel somehow connected to the school that i love,
even though i'm old and graduated over five years ago.
but i think i found somebody who just might love byu more than i do:
"Sam Dittmer, the 2006 national high school math champion, is now a freshman at BYU—and a member of the Cougar math team. Dittmer turned down an acceptance letter from MIT and $25,000 in annual financial aid from Stanford to attend at BYU."
"I invite you to read the Book of Mormon between now and the end of the year. As impossible as that may seem with all you are trying to manage in your life, if you will accept this invitation with full purpose of heart, the Lord will help you find a way to achieve it. Yes, I think he definately loves BYU more than most. Wow. His decision must have been hard.

i would be SO proud of him if he was my kid.
