dvd dinosaur

our dvd player is a dinosaur. i got it for my 20th birthday, just when they were starting to go mainstream, and it cost a lot. guys thought i was cool because i had one (i even went over to a co-worker's house one night and brought it with me to watch a movie, he and his roommates thought i was so cool. so did i, obviously). the first movie me and my roommates watched on it was "the wedding singer", and it had karaoke on the special features and we sang like crazy. so fun.

i'm getting off track. back to the dvd player. it's a pioneer and it was good in its day, it's just getting old now. it's so big, and the tray won't stay open, so unless you're really fast you cannot even get a movie in. it just opens and closes immediately. and recently, it has started skipping, even when the dvd isn't scratched. it's very annoying. when this happens, it makes isaac very upset, so to make him laugh, dave says it's going "freaky deaky." this afternoon i put a movie in for isaac to watch and it immediately started skipping (on the previews!). noah pointed at the tv and said, "freaky deaky!" it was hilarious. i'm dying just thinking about it. naturally i quickly got the camera out and had him repeat it for you all to experience. enjoy.

i think it's so cute that noah has started repeating everything we say. isaac does too, and is always asking him to say things. this is one of my favorite ages for kids. too cute.
