during singing and sharing time.
But then when it was time to go to class, he went with no problems and seemed to really enjoy himself.
Dave looked in the window of his class once because he thought he heard crying.
Isaac looked right back at him and told his teacher,
"There's my dad, he's looking right at me!"
but didn't get upset that Dave didn't come in.
He sat and listened to the lesson (apparently)
and was very excited to get a treat at the end.
PHEW!
I have been so nervous about this transition. Hopefully it goes this smoothly (and better) next week!

Hooray for you! I bet Isaac will begin to love sunbeams more and more. Isn't it weird though how well behaved our kids are when we're not around? Why can't they act that way for us?
Sweet! I Love when the kids cooperate! I was released yesterday from YW's and I am bummed! I have to go to RS now :(
Fun! It's crazy how fast time flies!
I was sad to miss Abby's first sunbeam day. Apparently it went fine, but I wished I coulda peeked in on her.
That has got to be a hard transition, i'm glad he did well. Does it feel weird that your kid is in primary? So old! :)
Wow! Isaac is getting old! I am jealous of the new buildings that have the windows in the doors - genius!
sad to miss it ellen! it thought she was sick, why did jared take her? she must have been better i guess.
it IS weird to have a kid in primary.
hey andrea, in draper we had a brand new building but the doors didn't have windows so the stake required primary teachers to leave doors open (apparently there were problems with a teacher molesting primary kids somewhere). less than a year after we moved into the new building, they got ALL NEW DOORS for every single door in the building with windows. had to cost a pretty penny. plus, what did they do with all the other new doors they took out that didn't have windows? weird.
If you think have a child in primary is wierd, wait until you have a grandchildren in high school and one of your children is 40 years old! How can it be. I'm not even that old.
Dad
We'll have to trade ideas on what to do for teaching those kids all those new songs. (:
