sunday sunday

sunday was my big primary program (phew! glad that's over...i only cried during the last song (i know that my savior loves me)...okay bawled is more like it, but that's just semantics) and afterward we headed up to logan for my new nephew's baby blessing. i hadn't had a chance to meet sweet parker yet, so i was excited to see him! he's still tiny, and looking at him makes me wonder about the miracle of babies. the difference between him and zoe (zoe and he?) is astounding, and they are only 5 months apart! i can't believe she was little like that, unable to move or really communicate, just 5 short months ago. now she's showing us who's boss (her) and telling it like it is all day long. anywho, here are some pictures from our day. i thought i looked really cute that day but after seeing the pictures, realized i didn't, so no pictures of me, but some of the family:

dave, about to pass out from sleep deprivation, zoe, and jack, chillin' on the carpet:

(pay no attention to the bow popping off zoe's head, it did that all day. weird, right?)

delos, grandpa, and parker:

these next 2 pictures are thanks to holly's mom. she and i have the same camera, so she took a few with mine thinking it was hers. worked out great for me!

mmm, papa murphys + holly's homemade orange cake = culinary perfection

grandma, holly, and gym holding parker.

i was so glad to go and hang with the fam. thanks for the delish food and good time, larsons! their blog is called 3 plus one (two boys, one dad, and one girl (mom) and now they are FOUR plus one. three boys. whew! good luck, guys. parker is one sweet, sweet boy.

afterwards i invited those driving back to draper back to my house for dinner, so they came and we had stir fry about an hour after gorging ourselves on pizza and cake. a good time was had by none. i mean all. heh heh.

hi there!

i have a super random question for you - my folks live in ABQ and we're getting together for Christmas and need a photog! is there any chance you know of anyone good out there???

i've looked online and haven't found anyone that particularly strikes my fancy - any ideas would help!

thanks!

Gym, you wouldn't have come! Plus we didn't have the space. Heh heh.

Peg, I did not. I'll make sure to get it and share, it was awesome!

liso, we were always happy with kim jew when we lived there but I don't know if they're still around? I agree that Sarah Love is awesome (April posted her website), she's a high school classmate and I'm totally enamored with her style.

Looks like fun and I would LOVE to hold that sweet little Parker. I sat right in front of Mindy at the meeting on Sat. night and we were talking about how cute he is! And you DO look cute. And I love Zoe's outfit. And I'm gathering a few things to send to her (including my favorite Halloween tee ever).

You DID look cute Em! What are you talking about? Thanks for coming to the "party" to celebrate Parker with us. It is always so much fun when the whole family gets together. Looks like we need to have more babies and have more baptisms so we can do it more often. (:

Zoe's outfit is so stinkin cute. Babies really are miracles, and nothing better than children bringing the spirit through song.
