first, have a baby. make sure it's number 3, and make sure you nurse.
second, make sure she wakes up every 2-3 hours to eat, even when she's six months old.
third, it's not totally necessary but it helps if you have a four-year-old who wets the bed nightly, and a six-year-old who climbs into bed with you every night. this way, you're waking up no fewer than 6 times a night, and if you go to bed at 11 and wake up at 6, that means you get about 20-30 minutes of good sleep in at a time.
and that's the perfect recipe for becoming a zombie.

first, you're not making me very excited for a third! lol
but we don't do bed sheet changes (not now at least, who knows how Carsen will be....) Cameron comes in our room every night, but we make a bed on our floor out of pillows and blankets. If he wakes us up or gets in our bed, he loses a privilege the next day (unless he's sick or something). Works like a charm. :)
Sounds like our house. I don't know for sure because I sleep right through all that.
i'll definitely keep this highly noted when "become a zombie" is an item on my to-do list. :)
Dude. Sorry! I think you need a nap!
true, true
Oh Emily I feel for you! I am a walking zombie most days also. Amy won't fall asleep in her own bed so she sleeps in mine until I carry her to her room. If I am lucky she will stay there the rest of the night, but usually around 3 or 4 in the morning she comes in with her pillow and blankie in hand ready to take her place in our bed! As for Hailey, last night was the first night that she actually slept through the whole night! She was getting up every 2 to 3 hours to nurse, but for some reason last night she didn't! I hope it lasts but I'm not counting on it. I hope you will be able to get some sleep soon!
i hear ya. at least you don't need to dress up for halloween!
Ha! Sing it sister! And husbands, as fabulous as they are, are more work to wake up and help then to just do it yourself.
Someday your full nights sleep will come.....
Ha Ha, that sounds a bit familiar, but look I survived, you might too.
AMEN SISTA!!!! that totally stinks about your other kids waking up too. Makes you wanna lock your door, doesn't it?
