my friend brit has this fun etsy shop that sells headbands for babies. not the ginormous, brain-squeezing things, just simple little elastic bands, perfect for baby girls with no hair. i bought some a few months before zoe was born. then after she came, i got an email from brit that said the ones she sent would be too big for a newborn (and they were), and that i should email her head measurements and she would send me new ones! a few days later i got this cute little package in the mail.
people, these headbands are perfection. i advise you hop on over to simply adorned and get yourself a few (or twenty). i want one in every color now.
i tried to get some shots of zoe with hers today, but she was having none of that...
until i picked her up. then the light of the automatic timer on the camera calmed her right down.

my sister uses those headbands, but they don't have the bow... just the little piece to clip interchangeable bows/flowers onto. she loves them!!

sheesh ellen, that was the first and last time she'll ever wear it. all i know is somebody who's had kids would NEVER put buttons instead of snaps. never.
