swiss days success

my sister sara's in-laws live in midway (where swiss days is held) so thursday night after noah's party i headed up with alice, summer, sara and baby eric to spend the night at chuck & millie's. we got up early in the morning and got to swiss days early, but it was already packed and there was nowhere to put our shade chairs, so we had to put them in the sun. that was the worst part of the day for me--returning to sit and sitting in the sun. other than that, it was a fun day! i had some awesome food and loved spending time with my mom, all three of my sisters and sister-in-law misty. we missed you this year, holly!

i just got a few things:



still loving orange, apparently. i got this mixing bowl and a headband that i'm in love with.

but the best find of the day was winborg sisters' design. oh. my. gosh. they have the cutest artwork for kids that i've possibly ever seen. i could have spent thousands (literally). they sell their art through pottery barn and target but are based out of layton, utah. the detail is incredible--it's something you have to see in person to appreciate. it's pieces of paper cut out to create a picture and then turned into a giclée. the different things they do are so clever. i loved the barnyard and elephant alphabets. ellen bought this pirate scene for her son's room. sara bought one too but i couldn't find it on their etsy site. and if i ever have a baby girl, i just might be using these birds as the basis for the nursery:
