last night my friend miriam had a lia sophia party.
i've chronicled my one experience with lia sophia here.
loooved that kaleidoscope necklace. wore it all the time (and i never wear jewelry).
the first time noah broke it, i sent it back and got a new one.
the second time he broke it, they no longer carried it.
so i'm out a kaleidoscope necklace, but i had $68 in credit for last night's party.
i ordered the blue lagoon necklace (looked AWESOME with my navy blue t-shirt!) and the double up bracelet (F in the picture).

the lia sophia girl was wearing this necklace:
not normally something i would think to order, but it's actually MUCH prettier in person, and looked so cute with her brown outfit. i wanted it. but it was $84 or something crazy. not happening. then, she told me to roll the 2 dice. i rolled a 3 (a 2 and 1)...and she said, "if you host a party, you can get anything in the catalog under $100 for $3." sold! i am now the proud owner of the lemoncello necklace (that i will be wearing with this grey dress and this yellow cardigan...could it be any more perfect?)...
...and i'm hosting a party.
my first time to ever host one of these things.
but it's worth it for a $3 necklace, no?
so the party is at my house april 30th. if you can come, i'd love to have you. if you don't live close, you can order something under my party and i can send it to you. you have to order 2 things at full price (can be the cheapest thing you're buying, too) and then the next 3 things you order are half price...and then you get a 6th item FREE. i am sooo not a jewelry person, but the lifetime guarantee for lia sophia has me sold. say, in a few years, that lemoncello necklace turns out to be as ugly as it looks in the picture? all i do is send it back, and i get the FULL CREDIT PRICE (as in $84, even though i only paid $3 for it) in credit towards a future purchase.
it's a thing of beauty.
partylite candles will also be at the party. i'm not really a candle person so i didn't buy anything and probably won't get anything from them that night either, but if you like candles and not jewelry, there's something for everyone, eh?

i may just have to drop by! I recently got my ears pierced and I'm excited to wear something other than studs. i think both necklaces will look nice!
THose are really cute! I am totally a necklace freak. I just might check out the website and see what my eyes behold. However, Scott said that everytime that I buy something for me, takes away from the baby! Such a mean husband! Kiddin..he is great.
wish i could come, i'll peruse the catalog and see if there's anything i want though
i always think that jewelry looks great on everyone else but me.
awesome! thanks to you i know all about Lia Sophia. it is amazing how something photograph not so great, but in person they are beautiful.
I'll be out of town that day, but it sounds like a fun thing for you to do. I love necklaces and earrings. I'll have to see if I want to order something from you. (:
I have a friend who does Lia Sophia and it's great stuff. I've gotten a few things here and there and LOVE them. Good luck with your party!
