it's small, but perfect for small kids who want to go sledding.
they can walk up the hill themselves,
but there was so much snow they got going pretty fast anyway.
the pile at the end of the hill stopped them from going into the street.
isaac and luke spent quite a bit of time sledding on christmas eve.
the day after christmas, luke and isaac took turns sliding down the snow slide in the backyard,
where the rocks were covered in snow.
luke had a full snowsuit,
but isaac was in sweats and a hoodie.
he came inside first.
then my b-i-l jared built a ski jump
and dave filmed him coming down.
i guess dave didn't realize how fast you get going on skis.
this was the result:
nevermind. ellen never sent me the video. but it's funny. dave is standing directly in jared's way and jared barrels right into him. funniest home videos-worthy, seriously.
good times with the snow.
my dad might not agree; he must have spent
at least 20 hours shoveling over the holidays.

I would LOVE to see that video
fun! that makes me want to go sledding.
seriously, find the video!
I told jared to! I don't know how, but I'll make him do it.
How can kids stay in the cold for so long?! It really is amazing. But looks like fun, and way more fun for you not to have to drag them up the hill. Oh and way to go on the 4 cents a month savings, that will go a long way! Oh and I don't ever think I told you how much Thomas and I got a kick out of your Christmas letter and pic...loved it.
I knew he'd go fast because he had already jumped several times. I was standing next to the tree. I don't know why he came right at me when I filmed him.
How fun to have such a great hill in front of the house! My parents need one of those ;) tone pulls the kids around the yard in a sled and calls it good! Ha! I want to see this video too!
