what color are your eyes?

those are my eyes. try not to notice the asymmetry, my desperate need for an eyebrow wax, the dark circles and wrinkles underneath, or the lazy left eye. we're talking about color here, people. focus.
when we were in california for thanksgiving i noticed my mother-in-law's eyes one day at church. they were green. not sort of green or hazelish, fully green, and they were beautiful. i've never really paid attention to peoples eyes before--it's just not something i look at or notice. but after seeing vivian's pretty eyes, i started noticing. and eyes really are remarkable. so mine are blue, boring old blue, but it's fun to see how they look different from day-to-day. if i'm wearing blue, they look darker, but any other color they're sort of light-ish blue. dave has blue eyes too, so our kids both have blue. but noah's are striking, while isaac's are simply....blue. i don't mean that to sound like an insult, but it's true. noah has fanTAStic blue eyes. but when you look at them side-by side like this, they look the same (noah is left, isaac is right). and in fact, in these pictures, isaac's look prettier than noah's. i don't get it. how can they look so different from day to day?

My eyes are kind of a weird hazel color, depending on what I wear they appear more brown or green. I always wanted blue or really green eyes. I even did the colored contact thing for quite a while in college. James' are a little like mine, but more on the brown side. Beth and Ryan both have fabulous chocolate colored brown eyes. Usually brown eyes are kind of boring, but Beth's in particular are just the perfect color of milk chocolate, plus they are huge and framed with LONG black eyelashes, so I love them.
I honestly don't know what color to call my eyes. They are a bluish color of some sort, I guess. They have a little green and grey too. You'll have to tell me the next time you see me.
brown, plain old brown is the easy answer. but to sound more dramtic, they also have a teeny tiny bit of hazel too, you just have to look really close.
blue mostly - they kind of change with what color I wear. Speaking of eyes.... Check out Kate Bosworth and Jane Seymours eyes. They have some wicked colored eyes!
Mine are a green hazel. I LOVE my eyes. I didn't notice they had green in them until a friend told me in 8th grade, and I've loved them ever since. Aaron has brown eyes. Max and Mason both have hazel eyes, but Max's have more or a bluish/grayish hint to them while Mason's have a green hint, like mine. Mason's eyes are incredible, because they are framed by long, thick, curly eyelashes that every woman would kill for. Max's are curled, too, but not nearly as thick or long. Addison's eyes are brown, with eyelashes that are like Aaron's - not very full and pretty straight. Why is it always boys that have the best eyelashes???? Oh, by the way, all of your eyes are gorgeous. I always wanted blue eyes. My dad has blue eyes, so I thought maybe one of my kids would, too, but alas, it wasn't meant to be!
I have noticed Vivian's eyes before too! Awesome color and shape, size, etc.
Mine are pretty much hazel. They look green with some things and gray (grey?) with others. Because of Scott's eye injury as a kid, one of his eyes looks light brown where the other looks dark brown. It's crazy

mine are blue and I love them! Sean has blue eyes too and so does Carter--but Carter's are awesome. Way better than Sean and me.
I know the green you speak of, Kent inherited them from the Pope side and I love them. I was so hoping that one of my kids would get them and I think Kade may have, but his are still changing color and he is almost 9! They keep getting a little greener and greener every year. Who knew that could happen?
Mine are plain old blue. Kent likes to make them sound romantic and call them smokey grey, but no, they are blue.
Our other three kids got kinda a mixture of both. A blueish greenish color. It's nice, but it is no Pope Green. =)

I have mostly hazel-ish eyes, but I ALWAYS wanted green. I LOVE Vivian's eyes. Maybe one of our kids will get them someday! If I ever get contacts I think I'll get the tinted green ones.
Greg's eyes are REALLY dark brown - almost black. (Darker when he's mad!)
Emmy's are deep, yuumy chocolate brown. BE-utiful!

I have dark brown eyes. Both of my boys have bright blue eyes... Carsen's are more brilliant though.
I got the shaft with just plain old hazel, nondiscript eyes. *Sigh*
Kraig got the green too, except his aren't so pronounced. Mine, are pretty much blue, with a ring of hazel by the iris. Usually unless you stare at me, they are just blue though.
brown and beautiful! but i've always wanted blue eyes--atleast for a day. i think brown hair and blue eyes is so striking.

well my eyes used to be blue, but at about age 19, they gradually started changing. They're green, now, but it's kinda muted and not obvious. Aubrey has really dark brown eyes (like Andy) and Lauren has striking blue eyes.
