"I invite you to read the Book of Mormon between now and the end of the year. As impossible as that may seem with all you are trying to manage in your life, if you will accept this invitation with full purpose of heart, the Lord will help you find a way to achieve it. And, as you prayerfully study, I promise that the heavens will open for you. The Lord will bless you with increased inspiration and revelation.
"As you read, I would encourage you to mark each verse that speaks of or refers to the Savior. Then, be intentional about talking of Christ, rejoicing in Christ, and preaching of Christ with your families and friends. You and they will be drawn closer to the Savior through this process. And changes, even miracles, will begin to happen."

The wrong blanket?
How could you?
When Ella went through this stage she spent a lot of time isolated in a room.
I explained to her that it's not fair to scream and cry and disturb our family, so she would have to be removed until she calmed down.
When our kids do this we like to quote from Willy Wonka the movie... "What is this? A freak out!?" Then we let them have their freak out alone, in their room.
Yeah, Noah goes in his crib when he does this. I thought the camera might distract him out of it but it just made it worse.
Hey Em, so I think your reunion was a week or two earlier then mine, July 31 and Aug 1 (day Breaking Dawn came out, heh heh). Too bad they weren't on the same weekend, we might have run into each other!! It was awesome to see Rachel since I haven't talked to her in more than 10 yrs!
As for the terrible two's, all I can say is, yikes...I don't have kids and that scares me! haha But I do remember when my little brothers were two very vividly and putting them in their room to scream on their own was pretty effective, but hard to do cause you have to deal with listening to them cry...it's good for them though. :) but like I said no kids yet so I haven't experienced it with one of my own offspring!
My mother-in-law says to check out the website www.parentingpower.com. She says the ladies on there are always on some morning show she watches and they have really great ideas for the terrible two's. good luck!
This is great birth control! Thanks Emily! ;)
I think alone time is the best thing too. I always take Cam to his room and close the door until he calms down...
so sorry for your frustrations!
You're so awesome to post stuff like this. You're not afraid to be real and that's so cool.
