the developer who built our condo is building townhomes in our parking lot right now. well, not in our parking lot, but you know what i mean. the dirt just next to our parking lot.
anyway, we can see the "diggers" from our balcony, but that's not good enough for my boys. the past few days we have spent lots of time outside watching them work. today my friend emilie's little girl ran out into the construction site and we got a good cussing out. whoops. i'm surprised they haven't put a fence up, but whatever.
go get your little boys and watch this video. i have like 40 more of them too. this way we can watch the diggers from the air-conditioned comfort of our house.
from this one you can actually see a train go by in the background.
it really is a little boy's paradise.

digging + boys = happiness!
digging + naptime = anger.
any idea on how long it will last?
we can't hear it from our house, it's pretty far away (these pictures are from the other side of the parking lot, not our house). i think it'll be months, they're doing a bunch of buildings. I'm sooo glad we didn't buy the other condo in this development that we looked at, because we took these pictures from the stairwell of that one and it was literally shaking us (the orange truck is stamping down the ground to level it out i think). the only problem is getting noah back inside after we watch them, he never wants to leave.
haha, Cameron watched all of these videos several times. He says 'ooooh big dirt'
No kidding! Caleb is always looking at the tractors around our place too. The train that goes by in front of our place and the dozens of planes that fly overhead every day. I'm sure my boys LOVE it here. (:
I've missed your blog the past few days. I love to read it, though. You are so lucky to have won all those prizes, but your best luck is not hearing or feeling the construction. It is so close to our condo that our house shakes pretty much all day. By the way. I have a great view in the shade on my flat. It they want to get up and personal, they are invited to come and see. Rachel likes to watch them too.
Awesome. We used to get McDonald's and drive over near sites like that and eat and watch from the car while eating our lunch. So fun!
Is your friend Victoria British? She has a "flat!"
