today was isaac's last day of swimming lessons.
we were early, so he got to have some one-on-one time with his teacher amanda.speaking of teachers, check her out. she looks like she's 12 years old.
he did pretty good! mostly they were teaching the kids to put their faces in the water with eyes open, and blow bubbles, which he already knows how to do, so i think he was a little bored. he spent lots of his time doing this:
noah and i had fun though! we brought snacks and toys and it was a nice 30-ish minutes to hang out together. we walked there today and i could not stop sweating. you know, it's hot in indoor swimming pools anyway, but after walking there too i thought i might die, so we had to come straight home and jump in our pool here. it was heaven. the rain from last night cooled off the pool so it didn't feel like a hot tub and we had so much fun. i can't tell you how much i am loving summer.
here's a quick video of isaac doing his "floats" and kicking. he's not so great at kicking, but he is learning!
i was going to scan his certificate of completion but the teacher handed them to the kids...while they were still in the water. so it's a little wet.
maybe she actually is twelve years old?

Am I the worldest biggest dork for wanting to go down that big yellow slide? Swim lessons always take me back to my life guarding days...ah, good times, good times.
And, I don't think I looked that young even when I WAS 12!!!
No Lynette, that slide is FUN! You're not a dork!
Hes such a cute little swimmer!
How exciting! He's going to be swimming in no time since he doesn't mind getting his face wet.
Fun! He looks so proud of himself. Maxim gets a very similar look when he does that stuff and cannonballs and stuff like that. Hilarious! So fun!
I'm soooooooooooo behind on blogging and I've been putting off commenting on yours because I'm the MOST behind on yours (for shame!) so I'm doing it. Right now. :P
(Oh, and my mother tells me I still look 12. Lovely to hear when you're 34. I hear "Honey, you'll love that when you're 40!" ALL THE TIME.)
Hot outside?!? Dude, it's 8:40pm and 101 degrees outside!!
The swimming looks fun either way though!
Well, I know we're not Phoenix, but 100* is still hot!
