that's right. i finally got the battery back and now the whole thing is broken. as is our video camera, which happened a week or so ago. so easter 2008 will likely not be recorded by our family this year. isaac's very first primary activity was today, and they had an easter egg hunt. he wasn't thrilled but had a semi-good time. then we went to a friends house for another easter egg hunt this afternoon. below are the "pictures" i took, if you can call them that. the boys seemed to have a good time at least, even if i was (and still am) fuming about my broken camera! i got it for my birthday last year and this is the third one (the first two did this same thing, but at least it was within costco's 90-day return policy time period).

So sad! Some of the pictures that you can see a little bit look all artsy. Broken cameras are the worst! Happy Easter anyway!
ya the one of Noah kinda looks like it was done on purpose with just the easter basket being in color. but you're still probably gonna have to buy a new camera. sorry dude.
bummer! how did your video camera die? I'd go buy a disposable one in the meantime... ya' know, like back in the dark ages!

the video tape for our camera popped out, but the case won't open (and i can't pry it or it will break the tape, and the tape is full, so i don't wanna lose all that footage)...so the tape thing is just sitting there popped out, unopened.

no emilie i had a GREAT time! i was mad about the camera once i uploaded the pictures and saw that they really turned out like that. i was hoping they just looked that way on my camera.
Oh that stinks! Is it the same kind of camera every time? Can you write a letter to the company? Don't buy that kind next time--yikes! But even if it's not under warranty, maybe you can still make a stink about it since it's happened so often?
