Random Thought Thursday
My brother James is here in Clearfield (on a business trip of all things) so last night we went out to Red Robin for dinner. The fry sauce at Red Robin is to die for. I could practically drink it.

My feet are freezing.

Can anyone teach me how to add songs to my iPod? I have tried a thousand times and nothing ever downloads! It's on my itunes page, the songs I want are checked, then I hit sync, my iPod says it's syncing, but when I go to the music page, nothing. It's making me so mad!

I miss Life. When is this dumb writer's strike going to end?!
---------------------------------
My rooster bootscrape is rusting. I don't know what to do about it but it's making me sad. I don't want it to rust the ground underneath but it's so cute and if I have to move it away from my front door I might cry.

The soap dispenser in my dishwasher is not opening. I emptied the dishwasher on Monday and didn't notice until Tuesday night. Don't eat at my house for a few days until we get all those dishes re-washed.

I have been looking for the perfect picture frames for over a year. Dave got me this awesome picture frame rod for Christmas last year (2006) and I've never put it up because I can't find the perfect frames. The problem is we're going to get a new couch someday and I don't know what color that room is going to be after that. Right now it's green, but I think we'll get a dark brown leather couch sometime this year. But our bookcase and mantel are white...so do we get brown frames to match the couch, white to match the bookcase, green to match the eyesore that is our current couch, or an accent color to match our non-existent throw pillows? Tricky.

Go with white or black (I choose black) frames and change out the ribbon as you change your taste or furniture as accent for a splash of color.
Forgot to send greetings to James! Wish you and he could drive up to Logan for a quick visit.
I would definitely do black frames to match the rod and then have accent colors for the ribbons--then that way it is easy to change to match any decor
I LOVE that fry sauce (and the towering onion rings) at Red Robin! Do you know the recipe?
Also, I say go with black/really dark brown frames... they match everything!
I'm with everyone else on frame choice. I would go black or dark brown, or you could go with a metal frame if you have any sort of metal in the room. I have black and silver frames around my house. And what's with James' facial hair. Has he had that for a while?
Agree with Shirlene, sick about the dishes, put another super thin mat underneath your rooster one, can you ask someone at the mac website about your ipod, I'd like to stab somoeone about the writers strike, my feet are freezing as well, hmmmm
i called rodworks and they said to use steel wool and then spray with rustoleum (THE EXACT SAME THING MY MOTHER-IN-LAW EMAILED ME THIS MORNING, SO WEIRD). the dishes at least got cleaned in really hot water....i never thought about asking someone at the website, i'll look into that.
by the way, nbc shows are at least new tonight!
I'd like to mention that I suggested the same things to Emily about her ipod and the bootscrape, but I get no love. Or she never listened to me in the first place.
All I have to say is if you and Ellen would stop wearing flip flops in the winter you're feet would not be freezing!
Oh yeah and it was fun to see you too! Love the fry sauce, basically do drink it!
p.s. i'll help you with the ipod if you help me with the plant shelves!
Girl - you like metal and distressed wood! Do what you like- do a black distressed frame and you will really like it. I've never understood why people have a problem with black metal or black wood and dark brown - they totally work together.
very helpful. you're right andrea. for some reason i've never liked black and brown together but i suppose it'll be fine. thanks y'all.
oh and lynette, no i don't know the recipe. i sure wish i had asked when i worked there though.
It's mayo, bbq sauce and their fry seasoning
Nice, James! Looks like you really got dressed up for the occasion! (: What? Did you just roll out of bed? or off a plane? :)

he was soooo tired, holly, he barely even ate two bites of his whole dinner because he could barely stay awake.
