Funny boys

Noah is a funny kid. Sometimes Dave and I refer to him as our puppy. Here are a few reasons why:

  • if he sees food on the floor, he eats it, regardless of its age or state.
  • he follows us from room to room whining like a dog.
  • he loves when wind blows in his face and sticks out his tongue when it does.
  • the second he hears either the keys or the front door open, he comes running, ready for his walk.
  • the other day dave hadn't gotten him dressed after his bath yet and he went to the bathroom on the floor.

  • Isaac is going to be an engineer, I'm sure of it. He is fascinated by machines. When it was warmer, he wanted us to lift the hood of the car so he could see the engine. Then he would ask us what all the parts were...sadly, neither Dave or I were any help (except for the occassional, "oh! that's the washer fluid!" or something) so sometime we'll have him go over it with my dad. Also, every time he flushes the toilet he wants us to lift off the back end so he can see "the machines" as they work to flush and fill the tank back up with water. It can get annoying, but it's also kind of neat to see his mind work and get excited about things like that. He tells us he's going to be an engineer like his grandpa, but I'm pretty sure he means a train engineer, not a mechanical one. I suppose we'll have to wait and see.
