random thought thursday

my mother-in-law sent me these cookie cutters for christmas.
my mind is spinning with all the things i want to use them for.
aren't they awesome?

i lost a blog follower yesterday.

i guess somebody didn't like my cute kids.

******

yesterday i drove to window rock to meet dave for lunch

so we could film a clip for jimmy fallon's

subs across america.

you should do one too, it was very funny.

but tape your sub shut before you throw it.

we have experience with what happens when you don't.

i got the cutest jammies for christmas

and now i want to wear them every night.

******

i wonder why i'm not a morning person?
i get more done in the first few hours of the day
than the entire rest of the day combined.

******

every night by about 8 o'clock

i am freezing.

like shivering, teeth-chattering kind of freezing,

and the only thing that helps is a boiling mug of hot chocolate.

seriously it has to be boiling to warm up my hands

and by the time i drink the whole thing, i'm warm again.

except my feet.

not even socks helps warm up my feet.

maybe i should pour some boiling hot chocolate on them?

in our living room we have brown couches,

a green and white end table,

a white book shelf/tv stand,

a black computer desk,

and a blonde wood filing cabinet.

i hate it. i hate it much.

zoe scratches my face a lot.

i currently have a doozy of a scratch on my left cheek

that i think might leave a scar.

don't babies stop doing that when they're, like, 6 weeks old?

dave gave me these earrings for christmas

and i wear them almost every day.

they're super cheap but i love how they look.

i want one in every color now.

dave might get to go to new york city in may for work!

how awesome would it be to have an all expenses paid trip to new york?

i hope jimmy fallon is still taping then so he can go.

he also gets to go to portland at the end of the month.

he hates traveling for work,

but if it were me i would live it up.

is it just me or is food WAY more expensive than it used to be?

isaac finished diary of a wimpy kid #5 last night.

that dude is on fire with reading these days.

if only i could get him interested in harry potter,

my life would be complete

and i could say i was a successful parent.

today i'm having lunch with friends,
separating the thousand dollars of meat i purchased into ziplocs for the freezer,
hopefully going to play group,
putting out my valentine's decorations,
and making a delicious dinner.
it's going to be a terrific thursday.
